Had an awesome stay at Abseil Inn! John and Helen were super cute, and breakfast blew my mind-especially John’s secret Waitomo Eggs! The drive up is a bit steep, but the views were totally worth it!

My stay was truly delightful. John’s breakfast selections were extensive, especially the local honeys, and I adored the cozy atmosphere of the swamp room. However, the steep drive was a bit daunting. I'd definitely come back!

Perfect for unwinding after exploring the local attractions, especially the glowworm caves and taking a thrilling abseiling tour. Don’t miss the lovely breakfast spread! Just a heads up, be sure to let the hosts know your arrival time.

We faced a real hassle at check-in. The owner was quite unwelcoming and seemed annoyed about our late arrival, even though we were unaware of the strict check-in hours.
