John and Helen were super cute, and breakfast blew my mind-especially John's secret Waitomo Eggs! The drive up is a bit steep, but the views were totally worth it!

the experience was excellent, would love to return. recently refurbished hotel, appreciated our stay, it had lovely food and fantastic location on the hill. location: the property was really close to tourist attractions as well as a very nice cafe/restaurant. dined at the ice cream truck, it was just a pleasant stroll away from the venue.

quirky atmosphere, steep driveway, charming decor
The check-in hours are inflexible, frustrating!!! The email communication regarding arrival times needs significant improvement to avoid unnecessary issues!!! Not everyone will enjoy navigating the steep drive up to the hotel!!!

The breakfast offerings were extraordinary, with an excellent selection that included velvety French toast and a variety of fresh juices. Staying in the Bush room provided fine views. The steep access road may pose a challenge for some, and check-in hours are quite strict, which could be inconvenient. The limited rooms lead to less privacy than expected.

Best breakfast vibes!
We had a blast at this cozy spot. Helen and John. The breakfast was super tasty, and we loved chatting with other guests. Just a heads up, the drive up can be a bit tricky if you're nervous behind the wheel, but the views are fine once you get there!
